About us

"Nicky Necky" kennel exists since 2001. Main "fault" for passion and love for Akitas belongs to dam Carry witch came to us in 1997. and still is a part of our little community. Besides Cerry, there are three more dams, one male and two cats.

Although Kyu and Shatsuko are show dams, with a lot of success in their careers, they prefer staying at home or having their careless walks in the fields. All three of them have their own traits, and the male is like a prince among them. Cerry is lazy, likes to hang around the house or by the warm stove and goes for a walk if it is really necessary. Kyu is dignified, proud, alpha dam. She is a real Houdini with a live temperament, there are but a few things she couldn't do in case she's got proper motivation. Only a choke collar can restrain her. If she wants it she'll get out of any ordinary collars. Shatsuko is always hungry. She keeps stealing food from our cat in case I'm not watching. She is always ready for some mischief and cuddling. All three of them live in harmony, with the exception of occasional "stretch the cat" game. Dams are very friendly toward people and somewhat less friendly toward other dogs. Kyu and Shatsuko like their walks, running over the fields and riding in a car. In my yard they are guardians until a guest arrives and then it's "hurray, man for cuddling is here". Kazan is dignified and restrained. He likes playing with puppies, and he likes mature dams only in pursuing.

Besides being nice, they know how to get angry. Just this summer I brought a kitten and for a whole week they were all angry with me and showed that by refusing to go in the house because of the "intruder".

So much about us in our daily life. Although kennel exists only eight years it has two champions: Shatsuko is INTCH (International champion) and Sugay Nicky Necky is CHSCG (Champion of Serbia and Montenegro).

I'd like to make some contacts with breeders from Europe in order to exchange experiences and cooperate on behalf of benefit of this noble race.
